A Sunset, Off Road, Tour

Getting off the roads in Sedona brings you closer to various rock formations that you would not otherwise see.  There are lots of tour companies that use Jeeps or Hummers to get you there.  You can also rent ATV's and drive yourself or follow a guide.

Our tour was arranged with Safari Jeep Tours.  Their staff was friendly and personable.  Our tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, especially for a 25 year old.  The Jeep suffered from a lack of routine maintenance.  The suspension system in the vehicle was shot.  It swayed way too much on regular roads.  Off road we got to feel every bump.  And there wasn't nearly enough room for 6 adults in the back of that jeep.

Still, we made the best of it and enjoyed the scenery.
