Canyon Villa Bed & Breakfast

Getting up to travel at 3:30 AM is not delightful.  However, the reward is the spectacular view from our room.  Sedona is known for its red rock and evidence of that surrounds us.  The pool is nestled into all of this beauty and with daytime highs topping 110 today the water will be very comfortable tonight.  It's available to guests 24/7.  Our primary goal today was to travel and adapt to the time zone.  Arizona does not observe daylight saving time.  Therefore, it is currently the same as being in the Pacific Time Zone.  In the fall, when the states that do observe it change back Arizona reverts back to Mountain Time.  EXCEPT, the land owned by native peoples generally DO observe daylight saving time.  When we get to Monument Valley we will set our clocks ahead one hour or be late for everything.  Here are a couple of late afternoon views from our balcony.
